When I was preparing to publish my last story Josie’s Heaven Awats, I realised how much a book title had to reflect the essence of the story, which was not the case with Giorgie’s Christmas Dinner.
This title was the catalyst for the story, and the essence was how all of creation on this great planet is connected by the vibration that is within and around us.
We all give, in some way, to the wellbeing of others in the web of life.
Astara, Giorgie’s special angel tells her that all the birds and animals are aware of how each will at some time, give its life that another may live.
The incredible talent of Julie-Ann Harper kept the ISBN and the content as it is, in Giorgie’s Christmas Dinner. The only change she made to the title and the cover design. Her changes more adequately reflect the essence of the story.
It takes a lot of courage for anyone to admit a mistake, however I am finding that life is one long learning curve and knowledge comes with experience.
May Giorgie and Natures Gift find its place as one of the best loved children’s books of all time.
May the message resonate within their souls, bringing peace and understanding to all their interactions with the web of life in the natural world, and the vast differences in the human race.
